Charging rules for air cargo or air express

The freight of all international transportation companies is based on the larger of actual weight and dimension weight.

The actual weight is the weight of the package on the scale. The size weight is based on the size of the package. Large items (such as pillows and Lampshades) with lower actual weight will result in larger size weight relative to their size, which is called "volume weight".

The size weight is calculated by multiplying the size of the item. Length times width times height, divided by the dimension factor. The industry standard size factor is 6000. So, the formula is:

Dimension weight (chargeable kg): l x W x H (CM) / 6000

For example: the actual weight of your package is 20KGS; the package size is 60cm long, 45cm wide, 55cm high, and the size weight (charging kg kg) is 24.75kg = 60lx45wx55h (CM) / 6000; the actual weight is 20kg < the size weight is 24.75kg; the charging weight will be 25kg according to the large accounting

Charging rules for sea groupage or sea express

The charging rules for LCL of sea bulk cargo are compared with the actual weight according to your cargo volume. For normal ordinary cargo, the charging is based on the cubic volume (the smallest unit of volume is accurate to 0.01 cubic meters, and the lowest consumption is 0.1 cubic meters). For heavy cargo, the charging is based on the weight of 0.5usd/kg (the smallest unit of weight is accurate to 1kg). The actual charging is based on the comparison between the volume charging and the weight charging, and the large charging is taken. The size weight is calculated by multiplying the size of the item. Length times width times height, divided by the dimension factor. The industry standard size factor is 6000. So, the formula is: volume weight = L x W x H (CM) / 2000
